Agreement provides complete and accessible wireless data solution
to empower mobile workers
GoAmerica Communications Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of GoAmerica Inc., (NASDAQ: GOAM) today announced an agreement with Sierra Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ: SWIR - TSE: SW) to bundle its industry-leading Go.Web(TM) wireless Internet technology with Sierra Wireless' wide-area network (WAN) solution. The joint marketing and sales initiative will allow GoAmerica to offer its mobile business customers Sierra Wireless' award-winning AirCard 300 and GoAmerica's Go.Web(TM) service in one package, providing the growing population of laptop users access to a complete and compelling wireless data solution.
The agreement provides GoAmerica with a custom package of the AirCard 300, co-branded packaging, and a software CD containing both the standard Sierra Wireless software and GoAmerica software. The bundled offering, designed to give laptop users more freedom and connectivity while working away from the office, will be sold through GoAmerica authorized resellers. "This expanded relationship with Sierra Wireless solidifies our commitment to satisfy the real time communications needs of the mobile workforce by providing a complete, out-of-the-box business solution," said GoAmerica president and CEO Aaron Dobrinsky.
The GoAmerica Go.Web(TM) technology allows users to access corporate data, send and receive email and browse customizable Internet content, including business and financial news, sports, weather, stock and travel updates virtually anywhere, anytime. Go.Web (TM) enables users to optimize time spent on the Internet by controlling email attachments and limiting graphics while browsing.
Both Sierra Wireless and GoAmerica are members of the WirelessReady (TM) Alliance, which was founded by Sierra Wireless.
