NSW: Third charged over Beirut By Night stabbing

SYDNEY, Dec 23 AAP - A third person has been charged over the stabbing death of a young
man at western Sydney's Beirut By Night restaurant.

Mohamed Omar, 24, was fatally stabbed during a fight at the Homebush restaurant at
about 2am (AEDT) on December 14.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital, but he later died.

Two other men, aged 22 and 32, were also stabbed in the altercation.

On Monday a 28-year-old Sadlier was charged with murder and two counts of malicious
wounding after turning himself in to Liverpool police station.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday.

Police also charged a 29-year-old Busby man with being an accessary after the fact
to murder and concealing a serious offence, and he will appear in Burwood Local Court
on Tuesday.

A third person, a 21-year-old Punchbowl woman, has now been charged over Mr Omar's
death, after being arrested by police at 6.30pm (AEDT) on Monday.

She has been charged with accessary after the fact to murder, two counts of accessary
after the fact to malicious wounding, and with concealing a serious offence.

She has been refused bail, and will also appear in Burwood Local Court on Tuesday.
