ALBANY FRIDAY 12:00 p.m. MENACING. A Third Street woman reported someone threatened her with an eight-inch knife at the corner of Partridge Street and Central Avenue on Thursday, Dec. 18.
12:50 p.m. ROBBERY. A Clinton Avenue woman said someone approached her from behind on Sheridan Avenue, pointed something at her back, told her to turn around then stole her purse containing $200.
1:35 p.m. RECKLESS DRIVER. A man, 41, from Robin Street, allegedly cut off a school bus carrying six children, forcing the bus to swerve into traffic. He was charged with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of children and harassment. Officers: Michael Sestak, Donald Kendricks.
2:30 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. The manager of a State Street store reported someone stole four cartons of cigarettes.
2:55 p.m. CRIMINAL CONTEMPT. A man, 34, from Henry Johnson Boulevard, allegedly violated an order of protection when he threatened a complainant while in Family Court. He was charged with criminal contempt and harassment. Officers: Kimberly McCoy, Gordon McLean Jr.
4:35 p.m. ASSAULT. A woman, 18, from the 100 block of Russell Road, allegedly kicked and punched a male in the head and face. Officers: William Dobbs, Peter Noonan.
5:20 p.m. CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON. A Lindbergh Avenue male reported someone with whom he was arguing in front of a Colonie Street address threw a brick through the window of his car and then threatened him with knife. The victim refused to press charges.
