IN response to the prevalence of kidney disease and the need for patients to make life altering changes, which include a change of diet, National Renal Care has launched a National Cookout Competition.

The competition is open to all people affected by kidney disease and aims to provide them with the opportunity to showcase recipes that they have developed for their own healthy lifestyles, while at the same time coping with the disease.

The competition categories are starter, main and dessert. Cash prizes are R5 000 for the winner of each category, R3 000 for runners up and R1 000 for those who come …
