FED: Beazley urges govt to support drug rehab and detox

CANBERRA, Feb 25 AAP - Opposition Leader Kim Beazley today urged the federal government to
do more to support drug rehabilitation programs and to try to stop the flow of illicit drugs
into Australia.

Mr Beazley said he was not convinced of the benefits of using the April premiers'
conference as a forum to discuss strategies to combat drugs.
